one_11 nicely points out in a recent post, it's thoroughly depressing that people have completely bought into the idea that you can be a total neophyte at government -- in fact, the stupider, the better -- and run the world's fifth-largest economy.
While I'm swiping things, I should say that I enjoyed the diagram of strange persons linked to bylaurens10, which explains the connection between fat people who like anime, sXe, and asphyxiation fetishists. A tip of the virtual pen also to the dependable Mr. Steen, who rants entertainingly about some television show (The Restaurant) that I've never heard of.
I am slowly, slowly digging out from under this week's mountain of work, but I have some sort of weird fever that can't decide whether it wants to blossom into a full-on cold or just stay bottled up in my head. Should make Sunday night/Monday's fasting really dandy.
