Sep. 3rd, 2005 08:44 pmIt is hard when something good happens and everything else in the world is bad. But, yeah, I got up today, and the birds were louder, the air smelled good, the grass looked greener, and I felt better about the universe than I have in a long while.
Mike has told me that they are shifting the sub-unit to be shared with another unit that has an open position and approval to hire someone. To be, hopefully, an honest-to-God trained manager. Who knows how to, you know, manage. That is the best possible outcome for me, since it promises competence and yet no other change in my situation.
OK, now you all can start taking bets on how long my mood will last.
edit: So now Rehnquist goes and dies. You see? You see what I get for being happy? Dammit...
