The insides of the attic are coated with water, an accretion that gently flows down into the insulation that serves as flooring near the eaves, and that's become all saturated, so that there are big wet spots and dripping from the second floor ceiling. I don't know if this means we need a new roof or whether that's just what happens when your roof gets hit with eight days straight of rain.
Possibly related, but probably not, we tracked down the Odor of Doom in the living room area -- it was mildew under an area rug. It's hard to know what water is getting where, with all of this rain, but it seems hard to see a way for outside rain to get to the middle of the room. Anyway, this had to be dealt with for several hours today.
And it had to rain this weekend, when we have plans for people over for dinner next week and I have to miss work and I have to build the sukkah and playgroup will meet here and...
Also, I woke up worrying about my job at 6 am this morning. First time that's happened in a while.
