sanpaku_backupOn my flight down to the Magic Kingdom, the cabin pressure was up so high that my teeth went numb. That's never happened to me before. Also, I was seated next to two twentysomething Japanese women who slept during the flight and enveloped the whole row in a cloud of flatulence.
I'd forgotten about the small lizards on the grounds of the Dolphin hotel. They come out at dusk and scutter away when you're about ten feet away, but they're everywhere. And that, plus the fact that there's free wireless in the airport, is all that occurred of use in my trip.
Now all I have is four more New York trips in the next four weeks. We are in deep hock to my in-laws because when babysitting fell through for next week S. started crying uncontrollably and while it did the trick they do not let us forget for an instant how much they're doing for us, and how they didn't have the same support when they had kids, and by the way would you get that sandbox out of the front room.
Off to the delights of the Detroit airport, such as they are...
