Yeah, I got laid off today. Along with half of the company, the half dedicated to production, so they're basically admitting the company is a failure and they are just keeping it going until it can be bought out by some other company... that's really gonna happen. Anyway, the situation is so horrible there now that those of us who got the can feel better than those who are left. So I packed all my shit up and hung out at the bar with my other former employees, who I will honestly miss tremendously. And now I have to figure out something new to do with my life, again.

I suppose I could add a lot of details, how it happened, what it means, etc., but I don't really feel like it.

In one of your other posts, you commented that no one said sorry you got laid off. Well, I'm sorry you got laid off. I was part of the people that had to lay off half of the company (internet consulting), then wait until it was my turn, knowing the end was inevitable. It was a fun, weird, dotcom ride... (I didn't get rich either, most of my colleagues did; I was about 1 year too late)..
