oh yeah, real life
Aug. 24th, 2008 11:48 amThere are always beginnings as well as endings.
* The end of trying to sell our house means that we can find places for all of our stuff again and actually feel like we inhabit the house. In particular, loads and loads of books and bookshelves have come flying out of storage, which is a great feeling. I'm spending today to try to convert the basement from being my non-office to being a playroom, too.
* Jo starts kindergarten on Tuesday. Did you know that
flw and I met in kindergarten some 32 years ago? So, a big deal.
* My favorite season is coming. Actually, you just can't complain with the weather we've had for August -- almost every day has been moderate and sunny. So we'll reseed the yard and I'll finish painting the shed and then we'll go apple picking and have Sukkot.
So things will be a little crazy with school and work and travel and holidays, but I'm feeling better about life already.
Oh, and is there any way in the universe I can see Quebec City this fall? I miss that place like crazy.
