I made another CD mix (which flw would disparage as "just rearranging my iTunes collection," sniff), mostly retreads of things I liked in the 1990s, with a few exceptions. But the segues came out particularly well and I like the "flow" of the songs. It also seems very autumn. Very autumn sweater. I know, they're all super obvious, so I'm kicking myself for not burning the disc with the title being the subject line of this post.

Went to see the new James Bond movie last night. Look, I like an action sequence as much as anyone, but the editing was done by someone with the attention span of a sand dart. Run, jump, drive, boom... he's driving toward a truck! He's gonna hit it! Cut to-- he's still driving! How'd he get past that truck? Doesn't matter, here's another kaboom! So the movie was frustrating. Here's your easy chair, gramps..

I got up this morning and did laps at the Warwick pool... managed to run or swim four days out of every week for the past four weeks. I really do feel better. Tired in the mornings, but better overall.

I have mediafire, but songs I've bought through iTunes can't be shared, only burned. Or is there a handy dandy way around that? (You're just gonna bust my chops over not getting around to using Audacity...)

If they burn to an audio CD, you can burn them and then import them as say... 192k mp3s.

The hilarious thing about "copy protection" is that the people it is meant to stop can get right around it, no problem... It tends only to cripple those who are trying to do ordinary things it is not meant to stop.
