Dec. 23rd, 2008 10:37 amYou have to love car dealerships. I get a recall notice from Toyota about bolts for the passenger windows, so I decide to finally bring it in. They tell me it will be "about an hour." After an hour goes by, she comes in with a whole list of things that "really" need to be done -- new tires, battery, timing chain, crank case. Um, and the windows aren't done yet. So if I don't leave in about 20 minutes I'll be late to pick up my son from nursery school and I'll have to pay extra. She finally stops talking long enough for me to ask why, exactly, they spent my time looking at things I didn't ask them to work on?
I guess this kind of thing must work on people, because the dealership does have this nifty internet room that I'm gabbing at you all from.
In summary: do not go to the dealer. Ever. Hey, are you listening?
