I didn't have much hope for this piece on the war when I started it, because I am skeptical of Taoism (based on a reading of "The Tao of Pooh," which I did not care for). But it turned out to have nothing to do with Taoism and a lot to do with some really smart, sharp points about fence-sitting in the current situation. A must read, I think.
