Nothing Happened Again Today

I read my old journal entries and I think, Hm, that is back when I had a job. Here's another one from when I had a job.

And a thought about Hollywood. So I watched Bridget Jones's Diary and it occurred to me that Renee Zellweger in that role is "fat" in the same way that Janeane Garofalo is "ugly" in The Truth About Cats and Dogs. What Hollywood does for peoples' self-esteem. But it was not a bad film. It was kind of like Play It Again, Sam in that it was funny but hard to watch someone you sympathized with be that pathetic.

we saw Bandits a couple of days ago-- Cate Blanchett got collagen injections in her lips. What, like she wasn't pretty enough already? It was sort of funny, but don't bother seeing it in the theatre.

I write way more in your journal than I do in mine.
