Dec. 10th, 2001 11:02 pmGot the College Board gig. Work at home, 3 months, paid a lot more than I got at DLI, but I do have to pay for our health insurance.
If it were to somehow magically turn into a permanent job... wow, this might all have a happy ending, folks.
Counting those chickens already. My, my. Back to reality.
Went to Kingston today to pick up the books for the course I am teaching. Was absurdly proud of myself for reducing an hour and a half drive to an hour and eighteen minutes. Yes, this whole idea of working 60 hours a week and briefly making a pile of money will work, but only until I have to somehow juggle car, commute, grading, etc. Then it will not.
But I have six weeks, so here goes nothing.
