Yours Is a Very Bad Hotel. Making its way around the Internet for the past two months, and apparently getting results in the form of apologies from the hotel, etc. Of course it turns out that "guaranteeing" yourself a hotel room guarantees you nothing. But what else are people supposed to do? I'd be pretty pissed off, too.

This just landed in my in-box today. It made me laugh, but most of the laughing was at the powerpoint format itself. Plus the Doubletree Detroit airport screwed me in a slightly less horrific fashion (And believe me the detroit airport is a pretty damn bad place to get stuck). I have carried a grudge ever since. Doubletree, I will not be bribed by your underbaked cookies!

Which reminds me, my LUPEC (http://www.lupec.org) sisters and I are planning a trip to Boston in the coming year!

We just have to figure out when, and sort out accommodations, etc. Have any recommendations?

Regardless, when we are there you and Mrs. Sanpaku should meet us for a drink!

Where will you be performing? It's such a huge metro area. If you're flying in you'd probably want to be somewhere not too far from access to the airport. I've seen some really nice hotels... but they are all too pricey for me and I would guess for you also.
