yes, i've seen it! :)
and have been wandering around explaining domo-kun to people, too.
he's actually a mascot for a japanese tv network that is kind of equivalent to PBS... so think of him as something like elmo or grover or cookie monster or oscar the grouch.
but his story is that he's a creature who hatched from an egg and likes to watch tv... A LOT.

i am not getting quite the domokun i wanted (i thought the new ones, sleepy or unsleepy, were the normal kind, not the cube kind, and then tried to switch to the hat and scarf or glasses version, unsuccessfully). but any domokun is better than no domokun at all. i am still smackin' myself for letting ragdoll talk me out of buying the one i wanted at urban outfitters a year ago. ack ack.
