War of the Spouses
Mar. 11th, 2002 10:52 pmI wish I had a rinkydink little computer cam. I think I should go out and get one.
Mrs. Sanpaku saw a painting lying out for the trash when we went for a drive tonight. She insisted she had to have it.
It is a landscape painting of a mountain and a forest. It would not look out of place, perhaps, in the motel by Route 6, the one with the dark pressboard walls and the coin-operated beds. Or maybe in Leroy's Bar, across from the moose head.
Not in the hallway right next to the front door.
Not at the top of the stairs, though thank Jeevus that the wall was too narrow for this monstrosity.
Granted that we have not put enough on the walls. My office currently has a couple of calendars and a pin map of places we've been in Maryland. But we do have some nicer stuff in the downstairs. My point is, better inoffensive than... yuck.
I mean, really. This is so Lockhorns, ya know?
