sanpaku_backupIt truly amazes me that this woman in Florida wants to go down in history as The Woman Who Stole the Election. The New York Post today said, "SHE PICKS BUSH." The Daily News said, "SHE GETS TO CHOOSE THE PRESIDENT." Both of these next to this woman's giant face on page 1. Everyone will know who took out the damn dirty laundry. I hope she gets a cushy job with the Republicans after this one. It will compensate for all those years in HELL!!
It amazes me how people get on the subject of winning this kind of thing. I have sat through enough losses in my life (elections, baseball, football) that I genuinely feel sorry for people who lose. I certainly contemplated a loss in this one for most of this year. So I cannot imagine what drives people to gloat like maniacs when their candidate wins. Or in this case for this woman not to realize that she is doing far more damage than help to Bush. It's not as if this election, with the confused oldies and the votes for Buchanan and the hanging chads, looks like such a great mandate for him anyway. Now to that can be added actual theft.
Well far be it for me to tell Republicans how to conduct themselves. I am just amazed at their ability to constantly shoot themselves in the foot over the past 10 years. No wonder they need to gloat so damn much when they do win.
