sanpaku_backupA new round of Eighties bashing has commenced on Slate. I do enjoy it. The very thought of someone defending Hall and Oates is amusing in and of itself.
I'm in a crotchety mood. Had weird and irregular sleep -- probably the result of too many marshmallows cooked over the fireplace. (I know, poor me. I understand there's a heat wave in most of the Northeast. A heat wave here is when things get above 80.) Had a stupid and predictable bout of agita over this stupid issue at work where I get chided for not doing something I wasn't told to do. Took 2 hours today to configure the fax modem, for some reason always the most complicated and problem-ridden part of the Mac software. Etc.
But there are worse places to work from, no doubt about it.
What we can see from our window, more or less (though there are trees in the way) -- Mt. Cadillac on Bar Harbor:
