"Here's something suitably out of step with the mawkishness of at least one of today's events. Some of us here just watched some of the Pentagon event on TV, and it really hit a lot of false notes. Worst of all were the upbeat showtunes written for the occasion and performed by singers in the uniforms of the various services. Some of the other events seemed more appropriately somber and reflective.
Mark Fiore, of course, persists in being a wiseass. Turn your sound on.
