sanpaku_backupFinally got the head cold that the Mrs. had for much of last week. It's kind of strange to call in sick to a job where you telecommute, but I am not going to accomplish much today.
This weekend we had a surprise baby shower for Mrs. S. Mostly the doing of her mother and her sister, though I played along. Much of her family around in general for the weekend, not unlike Thanksgiving. A truly staggering amount of food was produced and still sits in the refrigerator, where I can't even bear to think of it. It is only October and I am literally eating myself sick.
It was nice for them to make a fuss over her. It goes a long way to reducing some of the lingering issues from the wedding.
Went to the Paragon for dinner with E. afterwards.That place makes some of the best little pizzas I've ever had.
